General dentistry is the routine care that keeps teeth and gums healthy and repairs them when they are damaged: examinations, cleaning, x-rays, fillings, crowns, bridges and dentures. Our practice in Primrose Hill is led by Dr Ope Sodeinde, a GDC-registered specialist periodontist (GDC No. 104071), and every treatment plan starts with a clinical examination rather than a standard package.

We are a CQC-registered dental practice, which means we are inspected against the national standards for safety and quality in England.
If you are anxious about treatment, sedation options are available. We also work at an unhurried pace and explain each step before we do it.
A dental consultation is £195 and the fee goes towards your treatment. It includes a clinical examination and in-mouth x-rays; CT scans and OPGs are charged separately. You leave with a written plan and an itemised quote, so you know the full cost before committing to anything.

Our clinical lead is Dr Ope Sodeinde, GDC-registered specialist periodontist (GDC No. 104071). He is supported by Dr Neha Patel, specialist in endodontics (GDC No. 150517), Dr Kia Papagalani, specialist orthodontist (GDC No. 228487), and Dr Nicky Dehbonei and Dr Lydia Dzhukha, dentists with special interests. Routine care is delivered by the general dentists; where a case needs a specialist, the referral happens within the same practice.

Almost everyone is. It does not matter how long it has been since your last visit; we assess your mouth as it is now and plan from there.
A routine check-up takes one short visit. Restorative work such as a crown or a denture may need several appointments, and we tell you the likely number at the assessment.
Preventive care means examinations, professional teeth cleaning, dental x-rays, fluoride treatments and sealants: the routine work that catches decay and gum disease early, when it is simplest to treat. Restorative care repairs teeth that are already damaged. We fill cavities, repair chipped teeth, and fit crowns, bridges and dentures where a tooth has lost too much structure or is missing altogether.
For patients who need a crown, we use CEREC technology: the tooth is scanned digitally, the crown is designed on screen and milled in the practice, and it can be fitted in a single visit for suitable cases.
We chart your teeth and gums carefully at each examination and keep a record of your medical history, so each plan is based on your own mouth. Infection control follows the standards set for CQC-registered practices.

Oral health starts with dental examinations and professional teeth cleaning. Together they let us spot problems early and keep gums healthy between visits.
When a tooth is decayed or chipped, we restore it with dental fillings in a tooth-coloured composite resin.
For more extensive damage, we fit ceramic dental crowns, including same-day CEREC crowns where appropriate, and custom-made dentures.
We examine your teeth, gums and jaw, take any x-rays we need and agree a plan with you, including the number of visits.
We carry out the agreed work, from a single filling to fitting dentures. If anything changes during treatment, we tell you before continuing.
Some problems need more than general care. We refer within the practice for specialist gum disease treatment or specialist dental implant care when needed.
Regular check-ups let us monitor your restorations and catch new problems early.
A filling repairs a small area of decay. A crown covers a tooth that is cracked or too weak for a filling. A bridge or a denture replaces a tooth that is missing. Which is right for you depends on how much healthy tooth remains and on the condition of your gums and bone, and we decide that at the examination.
